I decided to add some pics from Tibor Gal's best vineyards in every seasons because this is the only field that is changing every day. I think they reveal the potential in my favorite region in the world: Eger :)
All the photos are made by egeddani.com.
The Matra hills beyond Eger, with the highest peek of Hungary: the Kekes. |
0,5 hectars of Kadarka and 0,5 hectars of a future Furmint or other on Eger's grand cru, the Nagy- Eged hill. |
Grapes on the Tornyos hill. (We have 4 hectars of Kekfrankos - Blaufrankish - here) |
The grapes are beautiful on the Sikhegy. The weather was extremly warm this summer. |
Spraying in the morning. We try to use the most harmless products. The tractorist is one the first people in the Tibor Gal team. |
The Sikhegy, hill between the Tornyos and the Pajados. Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris. Sikhegy means "Flat hill" |
Pinot Noir in the Sikhegy vineyards. We have more than 6 hectars of Pinot here. |
A pearl on the Sikhegy that we have bought recently. Many of the old plants are going to be rehabilitated by quality growers in Eger. |
Pajados hill. We work in 35 - 40 celsius in avarage this summer! No need for warm up... |
Workers in the Pajados hill. That's a Pinot! |
